Painting the Chapter (Predator Tank)

Here we have the very first of Several Heavy Support choices in the Praetorian Marines’ arsenal: The Scorpian Battle Tank!

Predator
I really like the look of the Predator Tanks; simple yet cool, and bristling with Weaponry!

Praetorian Marine Scorpian Battle Tank:

Twin-linked Lascannon turret and Lascannon Sponsons.

=165 points

Predator
This is a straight-forward GW model with no changes, although the Lascannon sponsons have been greenstuffed on due to glue proving ineffective!

Predator
A full Lascannon array makes for a powerful, long-ranged threat to anything in your opponant’s army!

So here we go!  How much did this model cost?

Predator Tank (Bought used from eBay) = £14.02

Green Stuff = £0.00 (already covered on previous models!)

Dettol (for stripping paint!) = £0.00

Total = £14.02 (Fairly straight-forward this time :p)

Total cost from Games Workshop (new) = £35

Total Saving = £20.98

A 60% saving!

Well I actually managed to bash this one out pretty quickly.  The most time-consuming part was stripping the original paint-job from the model!

Stay tuned for more, coming soon!

I was never a fan of the old second ed predator, so when the 4th ed version was released I loved it (though as you say, the sponsons do not hang easily). A lovely paint job on a great tank. Keep up the good work :)
